KS2 Class Teacher

The Wye Forest Federation is looking to recruit an early career teacher with high expectations for Key Stage 2, an eagerness to embrace change and the desire to continue to develop professionally.  We are looking for a team player who can use their own initiative and bring their love of learning to this Church of England federation of two village schools.  There is an expectation of leading a subject as part of a team.

The post will commence in September 2020 but is open to negotiation for a delayed start date at interview.

 

M1-M4 The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the appointed candidate.  This post is full-time and fixed term for one year.  There is the possibility that this could become a permanent role in the future.

SEN Teaching Assistant

 

Do you want to join a team committed to helping every child be the best they can be?


The Wye Forest Federation is looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 child who has special education need and a diagnosis of Autism.  This child needs 1:1 support so this role will include support throughout the day.  The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with pupils on a 1:1 basis.  They will need to support the child in behaviour management, classroom routines and to access the curriculum.  They will need to be consistent in their approach and will need to work closely with the teachers and other TAs who will also support the child.  They will also need to build a good relationship with the child’s parents, being willing to give feedback to the parents at SEN review meetings.


The position will be for 26 hours per week, Monday to Friday at Grade 5 SP11.  The post will commence as soon as possible.
