Wye Forest Federation
A warm welcome to The Wye Forest Federation website. We are delighted that you are looking to find out about our schools.
The Wye Forest Federation is currently made up of two partner primary schools situated along the Wye Valley on the edge of the Forest of Dean.
St Briavels Parochial Church of England School is a happy and creative school situated in the village of St Briavels, enjoying a beautiful outlook over the valley and an outdoor environment allowing many experiential learning opportunities. St Briavels currently have 132 children organised into five classes as well as our pre-school Sunflowers Class where we take children from 2 years and 6 months old.
Redbrook Church of England School is a nurturing environment with a smaller, family feel situated alongside the River Wye on the border with Wales. Redbrook currently have 33 children organised into two classes - Robin Class with EYFS and KS1 children and Kingfisher Class with KS2 children.
Across the Federation we have a dedicated, experienced team of leaders, teachers, teaching assistants and governors who strive to ensure that our children flourish, both academically and socially, learning the skills of learning and exploring a wide variety of learning opportunities and experiences.
Our Federation holds a distinctive Christian vision which underpins our developing enquiry led curriculum, ensuring that our Values and expectations are for our whole community whilst putting children at the very centre of everything we do.
